“ We carried out a major piece of work to our farm house. This was a double storey extension and loft conversion. We entrusted this work to Sue Collins of Artemis Refurbishments Ltd and we were not disappointed. The work was carried to a high standard, in good time and with plenty of attention to detail. Sue also had to deal with errors from the architect and kept the cost to us to minimum. Sue made regular site visits to deal with the different contractors and local authorities, in order to monitor their work and progress. She was always very punctual, well organised and her paper work highly efficient. Sue was very helpful with ideas on design (e.g. tiles, paint colours, bathroom fittings, Aga’s etc). We were happy to leave many design decisions to her. I can highly recommend Artemis Refurbishments as building contractors. ”

The picture gallery opposite is showing a Farmhouse; the work carried out included the refurbishment of 3 bathrooms, a new family room / kitchen area and the installation of a new pressurised heating system. The majority of the rooms consisted of two existing rooms being knocked into one i.e. bathrooms with separate W.C’s. and kitchen with separate utility room.

I think it was a little unusual as after agreeing everything we left the country so problems encountered on the way as well as regular decisions were made remotely by emails and jpegs.  It worked well which in itself I think suggests a high level of competence.

The work looks of good quality with a pleasing attention to detail.  All contractors seem to be competent and she has obviously a good rapport with them.  Most we understand have worked with her for many years.  She has a vast pool of local contacts that enable her to look after any eventuality ."
